Shelly Johannsen

Shelly is a UNI Business Management graduate, originally from the Cedar Valley. Shelly brings a wealth of management and health promotion experience to World Wide Fitness. She’s been teaching a variety of successful group exercise classes for 18 years. She’s an Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer, with many workshop endorsements. Shelly specializes in core fitness, strength training, step aerobics and group cycling. Individual and group personal training, including fitness evaluations, are also her areas of expertise. “My clients are my inspiration. They motivate me everyday to be the best I can be.”

Shelly also volunteers and participates in community wellness events and competitions. She enjoys boating and water skiing with family and friends. She loves to run, bike, snow ski and cook. With Shelly’s customer-focused philosophy and her passion for health and fitness, she will customize a fitness program for you, no matter what your age or fitness level is. “Meeting your fitness goals will be our mission.
